Digital Transformation and Smart Places

This intensive three-day CPD programme to run at the Craiglockhart campus, as part of the Business School at Edinburgh Napier University. Participants will study the key concepts of the smart city governance framework about smart city projects and transitions, under the direction of a team specialised in diverse areas within the field of urban innovation. The main rationale for this course is to provide an in-depth understanding of the digital technologies, infrastructure, and social-political forces shaping the future of our urban environments. Sustaining the digital transformation of urban infrastructure assets and services requires governments to actively engage with the smart city domain based on three core pillars of smart city governance: urban strategic framework, urban innovation ecosystem, and urban technological infrastructure.
